Our Charities:
When we first visited the Free State and North Western Province branches of Epilepsy SA, we were profoundly touched by what we witnessed there. The Residential Care Centre provides care for 80 adults, of whom many have multiple disabilities. These disabilities range from epilepsy to intellectual disability, down-syndrome, hydrocephalus, speech impediments, physical disabilities and psychiatric disabilities such as schizophrenia.
The centre provides the residents with accommodation, a stimulation programme for frail residents, a safe working environment for the stronger residents, social work services, medical care and the provision of food safety and physical care.
We were moved to such an extent that we have undertaken to donate R50.00 from every Polygraph examination that we administer this year to Epilepsy SA.
